Program Cordinator (Primary Education)

Responsibilities:

  • Product/program development
    • Design and implement effective learning activities (ICT based content) – in collaboration with other team members, work with others to scope and implement appropriate and effective knowledge capture and sharing activities
    • Explore out of box solutions – identify and share more creative, efficient and effective ways to engage audiences and facilitate sharing and collaboration
    • Lead development team and collaborate with field and design teams to plan and develop content, style and layout
    • Create and publish engaging content and follow effective pedagogy for respective target/beneficiaries – includes ability to edit, proofread and improve story boards or content outlines
    • Organize/setup a network of external stakeholders – developers, policy makers, researchers etc.
    • Prepare product outline/specification for program enhancement or new versions
    • Prepare training manual for every new release of product/process along with versioning
    • Conduct pilot for new interventions
    • Develop TLM/training aids as required
  • Program implementation
    • Prepare teaching plan for all version
    • Develop lesson plan for existing and new versions
    • Lead team of FS/FO while implementing new interventions
    • Coordinate with Assessment and field team to assess quality of instruction delivery and students’ performance
  • Team/Staff development
    • Development of annual, bi annual or quarterly plan of trainings for teachers (external) and teachers/FO (internal)
    • Develop manuals for special Programs for achieving 90:90 ( Teacher specific) for respective subject
    • Identify and assess future and current training needs through periodic TNI – job analysis, career paths, and consultation with line managers
    • Develop team of trainers for Theta stage implementation
  • Monitoring & Evaluation
    • Develop and execute Training Evaluation plan
    • Prepare training evaluation report and submit to CT
    • Periodic monitoring of lesson plan and teaching plan for Theta and regular of Open Lab (R& D schools)
    • Supervise team of researchers/pilot team (R&D schools)
  • Documentation
    • Document the pilot plan, process and proceedings
    • Maintain records of student observations and prepare reports , as required
    • Develop pool of reference/literature/resource material for program and people development

Qualification & experience:

  • Qualification: MBA, Maters in Education/Humanities/Social Sciences or others
  • Experience: 7- 10 year experience in content/program design, training development for teachers, developing surveys/feedback system for Hindi
  • Skills
    • Excellent facilitation, program/activity management, and written and oral communication skills
    • Creative problem-solving and ability to work under tight deadline

Work Condition:

  • Willing to travel in rural India (UP)
  • Work with Government school teachers (primary) at school level.
